Accurate measurements are very important to make sure we produce a garment with the Perfect Fit for you. Herefore we have prepared the "ESTA DIVA Measurement Image" and our "How-To-Measure-Guide" for your assistance when taking your measurements. Please let us know your personal measurements, which we need for tailoring your dance dress or costume.
We recommend you to wear tight clothes while measuring and have somebody else to take your measurements. Please use a non-stretch dress measure tape. While measuring the tape should not be pulled completely tight. Please input your measurements in centimeters (cm). Moreover, it is important that you review all your measurements to ensure that they are correct.
While measuring, stand straight with your heels together and arms down at your sides.
Put the tape around your fullest part of your chest. Follow back of your bra strap to keep the tape level.
Place the measuring tape underneath your bust.
Stand straight and keep your heels together. Place your hands at your natural waistline. This is where the tape should be positioned. Stand with your stomach at its natural position. Place the measuring tape around your natural waist.
Place the tape around the hip bone area.
Place the measuring tape around the widest part of your hips.
Place the measuring tape at the center of one of your shoulders and measure down to your nipple following the contour of your body.

Place the measuring tape at your waist and measure down to your knee following the contour of your body.
Place the measuring tape at your waist and measure down to the floor following the contour of your body.
Measure the distance between your crotch and the floor.
Measure the distance from the top of the pants to the floor.
Measure from the desired upper edge of the pants waistband (front side) down to the crotch and then up to the desired upper edge of the pants waistband at the back of the pants. See Image!
Measure from the center of one of your shoulders down along the body to the middle of the crotch. See Image!
Measure from the center of one of your shoulders down, through the crotch and then up along the back returning to the starting point at the shoulder. See Image!
Measure from the center of one your shoulders following the contour of your body (over one breast) and then all the way down to the desired hem of the dress (not incl. decorations such as fringe, sequin fringe, feathers, pearl fringes, organza fringes, etc.!!!). If the hem is uneven, please measure down to the longest part of the dress. See Image!
Measure from the center of one your shoulders following the contour of your body (over one breast) and then all the way straight down to the desired hem of the long dress (not incl. decorations such as fringe, sequin fringe, feathers, pearl fringes, organza fringes, etc.!!!). If the hem is uneven, please measure down to the level of the longest part of the dress.
Measure the Skirt Length from the upper end down to the longest end of the skirt at the bottom (not incl. decorations such as fringe, sequin fringe, feathers,etc.).If the hem is uneven, please measure down to the level of the longest part of the skirt.
Measure from the center of one your shoulders following the contour of your body (over one breast) and then all the way down to the desired hem of the coat (not incl. decorations such as fringe, sequin fringe, feathers, pearl fringes, organza fringes, etc.!!!).
Measure from the center of one your shoulders following the contour of your body (over one breast) and then all the way straight down to the desired hem of the jacket (not incl. decorations such as fringe, sequin fringe, feathers, pearl fringes, organza fringes, etc.!!!). If the hem is uneven, please measure down to the level of the longest part of the jacket.
Measure the length of your arm from shoulder (arm socket) to wrist along the outer edge of your elbow. Doing this the elbow should be slightly bent.
Measure the length of your forearm your elbow down to your wrist.
Measure around the widest part of your upper arm. Keep your arm straight when taking this measurement. If there is a difference between your left and right upper arm, specify the circumference of the larger one.
Measure around your elbow. Keep your arm straight when taking this measurement.
Measure around the widest part of your forearm. Keep your arm straight when taking this measurement. If there is a difference between your left and right forearm, specify the circumference of the larger one. See Image!
Measure around your wrist.
Place the measuring tape across your shoulders at the back and measure the distance between your arm sockets. (About an inch in from the edge of your shoulders - there's a bone.) This is generally the distance between your arm seams on a fitted blouse. See Image!
Measure from the shoulder down, through the armpit and then back up to the starting point of the measurement at the shoulder. See Image!
Measure around the widest part of your neck.
Measure around the widest part of your head.
Measure the length of your thigh from the crotch down to the knee.
Measure around the widest part of your thigh. Keep your leg straight when taking this measurement. If there is a difference between your left and right thigh, specify the circumference of the larger one.
Measure around your knee. Keep your leg slightly bent when taking this measurement.
Measure around the widest part of your calf. Keep your leg straight when taking this measurement. If there is a difference between your left and right calf, specify the circumference of the larger one.
Measure from the center of one your shoulders down to the desired hem of the corset. If the hem is uneven, please measure down to the longest part of it. See Image!
